PRESS RELEASE

The Adelante Dual Language Academy to be recipients of "SSV Kidzone" seats for the MLS San Jose Earthquakes game on October 25th at the Buck Shaw Stadium

Soccer Silicon Valley Community Foundation is pleased to welcome 50 children and families from the Adelante Dual Language Academy as their guests in the SSV Kidzone seats for the MLS San Jose Earthquakes game on October 25th at Buck Shaw Stadium versus Toronto FC.

"Soccer Silicon Valley, through our community foundation and in partnership with the San Jose Earthquakes, has set up a program to bring 50 kids to every Earthquakes home game," says SSV Kidzone Chair Lloyd Danon. "Because of the deserving children that the Adelante Academy serves, we selected them to receive tickets for free admission to the game."

"We are really excited to be working with the team's fans through SSV Community Foundation on the Kidzone," says Earthquakes Executive Vice President David Alioto. "We are pleased with the choice of the Adelante Academy as a deserving program for this partnership."

About the Adelante Academy:
The Adelante Dual Language Academy in Alum Rock School District is a Spanish dual language immersion K-8 school. Adelante is dedicated to preparing our students to be biliterate, bilingual, and bicultural. With an increasingly globalized economy, we believe our children will be able to more effectively compete through fluency in two languages. Our school has 220 students comprised of nearly 195 families, many of whom are working class and low income families from the heart of east San Jose. The PTA works very hard with community agencies such as MACSA and Alum Rock Counseling Center to provide low cost or free services and opportunities for the kids and their families.
